Organizational analysis is an instrument that produces a comprehensive description of the state of an organization and allows managers to make decisions to improve organizational performance and results.
Keinan Sheffy recommends organizational analysis in the following circumstances:

  • Appointment of a new general manager – in order to produce for that general manager a reliable, objective, and professional description of the organization.
  • Significant gaps in performance levels of different organizational units.
  • Prior to decisions on restructuring or reorganization.

Organizational development
Organization development is the implementation of principles and methods of behavioral sciences designed to increase the organization’s system-wide business effectiveness.

  • Developing organizational visions and values
  • Assimilating intra-organizational innovativeness
  • Developing management teams
  • Assimilating and upgrading customer service codes
