Exam Tips

Have you been invited to "Keinan-Sheffy Institute"
for a day of test?
Welcome. Here are some tips that might help you.

The purpose of this day is to check your suitability for the job
you have applied for or have been referred to. We are fully
aware of the importance of this special day for you and
therefore, in order to make things a bit easier, we would like
to describe the course of this day.

The Personnel Selection Process at the institute

"Keinan-Sheffy" is the leading group in Israel specializing in Human
Resources.

At "Keinan-Sheffy" two basic premises guide us:
Maintaining high professional standards.
Treating the applicants fairly and respectfully, while providing
personal attention.

Upon your arrival at the institute, we will welcome you in a
large comfortable classroom, where each applicant will be seated
at a separate working table for the test period. The classroom
accommodates a number of applicants. Some tests will be
administered to all the applicants at the same time, while others
are designed especially for the job you are applying for.

The tests, which will be administered, include intelligence tests
(psychometric tests), personality tests, personal questionnaires,
simulation tests and a personal interview.

We recommend acting as truthfully and naturally as possible, forget
the "good advice" provided by "various experts", be yourself and invest
all the necessary efforts in order to succeed.

The institute psychologists, all having ample knowledge and
experience in the occupational field will analyze the tests results and
all the other data gathered and will write the final report about each
applicant.

This report will be hand given, in a sealed envelope, to the person who
ordered these tests. These reports and any other data about the
applicants are safeguarded at the institute and are not transferred
to anybody unless a specific consent in writing has been given by the
applicant.

Welcome
Unless mentioned otherwise, all tests start at 8.00 a.m. For your
convenience, a detailed map is attached.
We suggest taking into consideration the typical morning
traffic problems when you plan your arrival time. The tests
will last until 3.00 p.m. However, some changes may occur, according
to each position requirements.
Throughout the day, there will be some planned recesses, during
which you can eat, smoke or make necessary phone calls.

We strongly recommend that you arrive at the tests alert and rested,
and during that day focus all your attention on the tests.

We will do our utmost to ensure that this day of tests will be as
comfortable and fair as possible. In case of any problem, which may
arise, do not hesitate to turn to the testers for help.

The entire staff at "Keinan-Sheffy Institute" is welcoming you and
wishing you an interesting and successful day!
